I was born and raised in Monroe, Michigan. I met my wife Sandy while both of us were working for Union Camp Paper Company.
We were married and moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1967. There we started a plastic thermoforming business, Stack Pac Corporation. We both worked at the company, Chris in sales and R &D, and Sandy in accounting and running the office.
We always vacationed in Florida and soon came to the conclusion that we like sunshine better then cold and snow.We had homes or condos in Naples, Estero, and Bonita Springs.
After the business was sold in 2002 we looked for Paradise...... and we found it here in Matlacha, the last of old Florida. With boating, fishing, crabbing, harvesting oysters and living in a great community, it has it all!We built a home here and after getting into Sandy's hair too much, I decided to try to get my real estate license. In 2012 I did just that.
In 2016 I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. After 2 years of chemo, radiation and finally esophagus removed, I was cancer free. Still having checkups but cancer free.
We decided to scale down and bought a historical home in Matlacha, put on an addition in back and moved in August 2020. One of the best moves we made.
We both enjoy living in Matlacha and couldn't think of any place else we would rather be.
Together WE can make it HAPPEN!
